Family shore activities
The Sea Angling Classic something for everybody of all ages
The competition aims to be so much more than a competition, by running onshore families-orientated workshops where parents and kids can come along and learn how to get into angling, go mackerel fishing under the guidance of level 2 Angling trust coaches on a charter boat as well as learning much more about the marine environment with local wildlife groups.
All partners running the activities will also strongly explain how we can play a part in caring for the environment and several shoreline cleanups will be taking place.
Conditions of entry:
- Some activities have a limited number of places that will be allocated on a first-come-first basis upon completion of the registration form.
- All activities (to the exception of the shoreline cleanups) will be based at Northney Marina and will be taking place on Saturday the 24th and Sunday the 25th of July.
- All children taking part in an activity are doing so under the direct supervision of a parent/guardian and on a one-to-one basis for children under the age of 7 and on one-to-two for children under the age of 12. Children between the age of 12 and 16 can take part in an activity without direct supervision providing they have registered with an adult who remains on-site at all times.
- Parents to sign a disclaimer as well as an authorisation for any pictures/videos taken during the activity to be used by organisers and activity partners on any media support and with no limit of time.
