SAC visitors Dos and Don’ts

Welcome to the Sea Angling Classic 2024!

We’re excited to have you with us and are looking forward to an enriching and enjoyable experience together. To ensure everyone has the best time possible, please observe the following guidelines during the event:

Visitors’ Dos:

  • Respect Speed Onsite and in Parking Areas: Adhere to posted speed limits while driving in and around the marina and parking areas to ensure the safety of all pedestrians and prevent accidents.
  • Prioritize Children’s Safety: Keep a close watch on children at all times, especially near water. Educate them about the dangers of running or playing near water without adult supervision and ensure they stay away from the edge.
  • Walk Cautiously in Marinas: Remain alert and aware of your surroundings when walking near water. Surfaces can be slippery, and obstacles may be unexpected. Please use only designated walkways.

Visitors’ Don’ts:

  • Do Not Ignore Parking Regulations: Avoid parking in unauthorized areas or blocking access routes. Always use designated parking spots to keep pathways clear for emergency vehicles and other users. Do not park by marina offices without securing a 20-minute pass from event headquarters first.
  • Do Not Leave Children Unattended: Never leave children unattended near water, regardless of their swimming abilities. Stay vigilant as accidents can happen quickly and without warning.
  • Do Not Access Marina Pontoons: Access to pontoons is restricted to participants and event-related staff/partners only.
  • Do Not Fly a Drone: Port Solent and Premier Marinas Port Solent enforce strict drone regulations. You must obtain proper authorization before operating a drone.
  • Do Not Use Bikes/Electric Scooters: Biking and the use of electric scooters are prohibited throughout Port Solent and marina properties.
  • Avoid Littering and Pollution: Please dispose of all litter responsibly using the numerous bins provided onsite. Do not throw litter on land or into the water.

Thank you for adhering to these guidelines. We are committed to ensuring a safe and enjoyable environment for all attendees. Enjoy the Sea Angling Classic 2024!
